The theme I came up (even though it is a loose concept) is related to the Christmas season to the extent that it may cover how a person could have their day go (scale of great to worse), which led to various ideas of what the theme were to be before the drawings started taking shape.My mind is not very creative, so as I was making drawings I would consult some of my references to take some inspiration from them. There are some drawings there that are very close to some of the references, yet others that came up in the nick of the moment.
During the process of drawing the dingbats I came across pressure sensibility, brush sizes and coloring through layers. The methods weren't part of my original plan, but it was very refreshing being able to use this tools as an aid to discover better drawing styles.
